On the 17th of July 2022, I had a live Conference with Business owners in Lagos, Nigeria.

An example is trying to sell an iPhone to a secondary school boy who still depends on his parents to feed.
Or
√ Trying to sell a weight loss product to a slim girl 😂.
Certainly, you know anyone making this mistake is on a highway to failure in their business.

3. No Offer - an offer in marketing simply refers to something (valuable) you give to your buyers to make them buy from you. Many marketers are simply selling products instead of offers.
Now, I need you to get something right...
Your offer is not that thing you are selling.
Your offer is something extra to what you are selling that will convince people to buy from you instead of the next person selling same thing as you.
Here's an example...
Vendor A - Quality human hair imported from China, long lasting and makes you the centre of attraction in public. Price - N50,000. Delivery fee - N3,000.
Vendor B - Quality human hair, you won't be needing another hair in the next 12 months. Free revamping for the next 6 months. Price N60,000. FREE DELIVERY to all parts of Nigeria.
If you're a lady looking for a human hair to buy, which of the 2 vendors would you buy from?
Yeah, I heard you...
The second vendor of course. Even though the price is higher, the OFFER is much stronger than that of Vendor A.
Your job from now is to start creating offers that are so good and powerful people would find it difficult to refuse. Offers that will make them feel stupid not buying from you.

I see a lot of Whatsapp vendors make this mistake that's why I decided to caption them... 👇
4. You are a Terrorist 😂 - everyday I see a lot Whatsapp vendors fill their status with pictures of their products to the extent it looks like waist bead (LOL).
When you view their status you see something like -
~ we don wake, come and buy my market.
~ come and buy my market, so make I see food chop.
~ if you no buy my market wetin you gain... the list goes on.
Some even go to the extent of spamming people's DM with pictures of their products (unannounced).
You must have experienced this yeah?
And you must agree with me that's very annoying.
So you see why I call such marketers terrorist.
